Desert Botanical Garden is celebrating Arizona pride and Hispanic Heritage Month with an exclusive collection from Yo Amo AZ.
Starting Sept. 11, guests can purchase an exclusive collection from local artist Eric McIntosh at the Garden Shop that features T-shirts, magnets and stickers.
Eric McIntosh will have a special launch day at the Garden Shop on Sept. 11 from 6-8 p.m.

Q: Can you tell us how the Garden inspired these new Yo Amo AZ products?
A: The Desert Botanical Garden is such a special expression of Arizona—its landscapes, colors, plants, and sense of place. There is a natural constructive collaboration between the Garden and Yo Amo AZ: both celebrate what makes Arizona unique and bring people together around a shared appreciation for our state. The Garden’s mission to bring people together to protect and celebrate the unique wonders of the desert really resonated with us. We wanted to create products that capture that feeling while celebrating Arizona pride, culture, and place.
Q: How many products will be available for purchase at the Garden Shop? What sizes will be available?
A: The initial collection will include three Garden-inspired Yo Amo AZ products: a T-shirt, sticker, and magnet. The T-shirts will be available in a range of sizes, while the sticker and magnet offer an effortless way for guests to take a little piece of Arizona home with them. We are excited to start with this collection and explore opportunities to grow it over time.
Q: How do you hope your products help guests connect with Arizona’s rich Hispanic heritage and the stories celebrated through Yo Amo AZ?
A: Arizona’s identity is shaped by many cultures, communities, landscapes, and generations of people. Yo Amo AZ was created to celebrate that diversity and the pride people have for our state. The bilingual message is especially meaningful because it resonates with Arizona’s Hispanic and Spanish-speaking communities, including visitors who come from around the world. We hope the products help create a sense of connection and belonging while celebrating the many stories and cultures that make Arizona what it is today.
Q: What do you hope guests take away with the purchase of these new Garden-inspired Yo Amo AZ products?
A: We hope they take home more than a souvenir—we hope they take home a feeling of Arizona. Whether they are a longtime resident or visiting for the first time, we want these products to create a sense of pride in our desert, our state, and the people who call Arizona home. We also believe that celebrating Arizona through locally inspired products helps support local businesses, tourism, and the broader Arizona economy. Every purchase can be a small way of carrying Arizona pride forward.
