The Garden’s most colorful season is almost here!
Throughout the spring, the Garden will be blanketed with a kaleidoscope of colors — a sea of red, pink, yellow, orange, white and purple wildflowers! Make your reservations to the Garden today at dbg.org. And if you see something you like while visiting us, take a picture of it and visit the Garden’s Spring Plant Sale on March 16-19.
In the meantime, the Garden compiled a short list of some of the plants you need to keep an eye out for on the trails. The list includes a seas of desert blooms, from deep and fragrant purple flowers of the Texas mountain laurel (Dermatophyllum secundiflorum), ruby red flowers from certain cactus species, the bright pink flowers of the Parry’s penstemon, and the lively yellow blooms of the palo verde tree.
