Phoenix-based artist Paige Poppe launched a new stunning Save the Saguaros collection available at the Garden Shop, that focuses on the urgent need to save the saguaro.
Her work draws inspiration from the towering presence of these iconic desert plants and the vital role they play in the Sonoran Desert ecosystem.
The items available for purchase include a Shirt, Prints and Souvenir Items — that not only capture the beauty of saguaros but also highlight the threats they face due to climate change, urban development and invasive species.
Poppe’s art serves as both a tribute to the resilience of the saguaro and a call to action for conservation efforts.
In 2023, the Garden lost 21 saguaros due to extreme heat and climate change. In an effort to bring awareness to this loss, the Garden has partnered with Poppe to bring a stunning collection for a cause. Proceeds from every purchase supports the Garden’s efforts to save the cactus
Join us for a Pop(pe)- up Shop(pe) on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to noon. Have the opportunity to meet Paige Poppe, make a purchase and enjoy some light refreshments.
