Las Noches de las Luminarias Through the Years | Desert Botanical Garden

OPEN DAILY 8 A.M.|7 A.M. FOR MEMBERS WED. & SUN.

What started out as a one-night holiday event to showcase the vibrancy of the Sonoran Desert with luminaria-lit bags has now grown into a nearly months-long festive tradition at Desert Botanical Garden.

Las Noches de las Luminarias was first introduced in 1978, greeting 600 guests. Over the years, this holiday experience has grown in popularity and keeps transforming as the Garden does.

With more than 8,000 luminarias gracing the Garden’s trails, holiday living displays and extraordinary art exhibits, Las Noches de las Luminarias is a must-see experience during the holidays.

Check out some of the most memorable years and don’t forget to grab your tickets. Las Noches de las Luminarias are happening on select nights from Nov. 28 through Dec. 30.
