Cactus-Themed Summer Cocktail Recipes | Desert Botanical Garden

With prickly pear fruit coming into season, Gertrude’s Restaurant has a couple of fun summer drinks that will pare well for almost any summer gathering. 

Prickly Pear Mimosa

  • 1 ounce Prickly Pear Syrup
  • 5 ounces Brut Rosé

Into a flute, pour prickly pear syrup and top with Brut

Cactus Cosmo

  • 1.5 ounce Vodka
  • 0.5 ounce Triple Sec
  • 0.5 ounce Prickly Pear Syrup
  • Splash Blood Orange Syrup

Splash CranberryMix all ingredients in a tin with ice and squeeze in a lime wedge and discard. Shake well and serve up with lime garnish.
