With prickly pear fruit coming into season, Gertrude’s Restaurant has a couple of fun summer drinks that will pare well for almost any summer gathering.
Prickly Pear Mimosa
- 1 ounce Prickly Pear Syrup
- 5 ounces Brut Rosé
Into a flute, pour prickly pear syrup and top with Brut
Cactus Cosmo
- 1.5 ounce Vodka
- 0.5 ounce Triple Sec
- 0.5 ounce Prickly Pear Syrup
- Splash Blood Orange Syrup
Splash CranberryMix all ingredients in a tin with ice and squeeze in a lime wedge and discard. Shake well and serve up with lime garnish.
