Cactus Clubhouse - build, play and create

Cactus Clubhouse

Explore, play and discover at the Cactus Clubhouse. Children ages 0-12 and their caregivers will enjoy multiple nature play activities while connecting with nature.

Cactus Kids Club

Cactus Kids Club is for kids 12 and under. Cactus Kids will dig into Garden trails, learn about the wonders of the Sonoran Desert, meet enchanting creatures and enjoy fun onsite activities. Free with Garden admission.

Cactus Kids Kits

The Garden is excited to launch an activity kit for kids and their families to get outside and have fun in nature. Cactus Kids Activity Kit includes six different experiences with instructions in English and Spanish to some of the Garden’s most popular activities, like nature walks and hands-on explorations. The kit is for children 7 to 12.

Teens in the Garden Program

Participants meet monthly from October to May for hour-long engagement opportunities with professionals across the field of horticulture, ecology, and many more. Contact clawrence@dbg.org for more information.

The program will be meeting in person or virtually on alternating months. In-person meet-ups are subject to change.

Desert Kids Camp

Spend time at the Garden this summer! Kids ages 3-12 and their caregivers can enjoy these summer drop-in experiences filled with music, activities, games and more all in the Garden’s outdoor classroom.

Desert Botanical Garden is excited to launch children’s storytime on various mornings this summer. Each day Garden instructors will read different nature-themed books that highlight the wonders of the desert.
