Desert Botanical Garden invites kids to engage with the outdoors around them at Cactus Clubhouse–a nature play space. The play area provides unstructured, child-led activities for kids under 12 to discover the fun of the natural world.

March 24 | Garden closes at 3 p.m.
April 22 | Garden closes at noon
July 4 | Closed 

January – March | The Plants and People of the Sonoran Desert Trail will close at sunset.

*General Admission does not include special ticketed events or exhibitions.

Please remember that non-service dogs are NOT permitted in the Garden unless you visit on Dog Days.

Garden accessibility

The Garden is fully accessible via wheelchair, and most trails are stroller friendly. Scooters can be rented for $40 for non-members and $35 for members. Wheelchairs and electric scooters will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at admissions and will be sanitized after each use.
