STRANGE GARDEN RETURNS TO THE GARDEN THIS HALLOWEEN SEASON

September 20, 2019

Phoenix, Sept. 5, 2019 – Strange Garden is creeping back into Desert Botanical Garden for the third year, and visitors are invited to dress in their Halloween best for this family-favorite festival Oct. 25 and 26.

Stroll through Pumpkin Alley to see the clever creations of pumpkin vignettes by Villafane Studios. Jaws will drop as guests view the gravity-defying performances of Vertical Fix, and kick your costume up a notch with complimentary face painting. Look out for our Mad Botanists, as they dazzle with tales of peculiar plants, and meet the Buggy Entomologist to get up close to the creepy-crawlies of the desert. Dance until you drop at the spook-tacular monster bash, and kids 12 and younger can pick the perfect pumpkin to take home.

Guests will also experience the glowing animals of Wild Rising by Cracking Art after dark.

Visitors of all ages will be drawn to engage with these more than 1,000 vibrant creatures and to discover that plastic does not have to end up in landfills, but it can be reinvented into something eye-catching and thought-provoking.

Dinner, snacks, desserts and beverages are available for purchase from Valley food trucks and vendors.

WHEN:           Oct. 25 and 26 | 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
