DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN ANNOUNCES DINNER ON THE DESERT DATE FOR 2019

January 31, 2019

Phoenix – Desert Botanical Garden’s annual fundraising gala, Dinner on the Desert, is scheduled for April 27 set in a magical outdoor setting under the stars. This year’s event chairs are Amy Flood and Larry West of Phoenix and Dana and Bruce Macdonough of Paradise Valley.

Annually Dinner on the Desert draws more than 600 business leaders, philanthropists, community partners and Garden friends who come together to enjoy a unique garden-themed auction, cocktail reception and elegant dinner.

After dinner, guests are invited to enjoy Electric Desert │A Light and Sound Experience by Klip Collective, which brings the desert alive for an exciting and immersive journey. Experience the desert as you’ve never imagined it before.

Celebrating its 80th anniversary year, thanks to leadership and investments from many individuals, the Garden has blossomed from a dream into a living museum unlike any other. Support from Dinner on the Desert guests advances the Garden’s research, conservation, exhibition and environmental education programs and nurtures community respect and appreciation for our Sonoran Desert home.

WHERE:         Desert Botanical Garden, 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix, AZ 85008
