Hot Summer Deal Feature

The Garden is excited for the second season of Read Between the Spines book clubA botanical twist to the traditional book club, featuring books that highlight the world of plants, horticulture and conservation. Martha Hunter Henderson and Pam Hait co-authored Sonoran Desert’s Got Magic!, a new children’s book published by Desert Botanical Garden. They will provide insights about the process of writing children’s books for those who have their own stories to tell.

What is the cancelation policy?

Desert Botanical Garden reserves the right to cancel programs at its discretion. Programs will run as scheduled, regardless of weather, unless participants are contacted directly by Garden staff either by phone or email. We reserve the right to substitute any instructors in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

What is the refund policy?

To receive a refund, you must send a written request at least 14 days before the scheduled date of your class orprogram. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Please send your written request to Elizabeth Ladwig at eladwig@dbg.org.

The class I want to attend is sold out. Is there a wait list I can be added to?

Yes, when you attempt to register for a class that is sold out an option to be added to a wait list is provided. If a participant cancels, a Garden staff member will reach out to the provided phone number to add you to theregistration list. Payment will be collected before you attend the class.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept most credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). For your protection, we do not store your credit card number after the transaction is complete. Please do not close your browser until you have reached our Confirmation page and can print your ticket(s).

What do I need to bring with me to the class?

Please present your ticket on your phone or printed ticket sent in a confirmation email after registering. If anymaterials or supplies are required, you will receive that information in a follow up email 3-5 days before the class.

What ages can participate in Adult Education offerings?

Children under 10 may not attend. Children ages 10-14 may attend adult education programs with an adult and both must pay fees. Those 15 and older may attend without an adult.

Are participants allowed to eat or drink inside classrooms?

Participants are allowed to bring water bottles. No outside food will be allowed in indoor spaces. For cooking classes,all food supplies will be provided by the Garden unless otherwise indicated.

Is general admission included with class registration?
Garden admission is included with class purchase. Admission can be redeemed immediately before and after class only. It cannot be redeemed outside of the class date.
