Wind, Water, Earth by Natasha Lisitsa and Daniel Schultz

Desert Botanical Garden’s newest art exhibition is now open and features large-scale living sculptures created by Natasha Lisitsa and Daniel Schultz of Waterlily Pond Studio.

Final Installation is now open!

Earth | April 3 – 25 | 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. | Dorrance Hall
The exhibition will culminate with Earth, an immersive, room height 3-dimensional structure will be composed of 24 wood layers of “strata” cut away to reveal an open archway that visitors can enter. Ten thousand fresh flowers including roses, orchids and more will line the layers in a palette of desert colors.

Throughout the run of Earth, living plant material will be periodically refreshed. During the following times, visitors will experience limited access:

April 12: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
April 13: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
April 14: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
April 20: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
April 21: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
April 22: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

ABOUT NATASHA LISITSA & DANIEL SCHULTZ
Natasha Lisitsa and Daniel Schultz, a wife and husband team, are internationally renowned floral installation artists. They are widely recognized for their larger-than-life installations, and unique approach combining flowers with structurally challenging forms.

Their studio, Waterlily Pond, has been commissioned by modern art museums, cathedrals, public spaces and cultural organizations worldwide. Natasha and Daniel have participated as featured artists in exhibitions nationally and internationally, including Festival Flora Spain where they won Grand prize and Singapore Garden Festival, where they won Gold Medal and Best in Show.
