Viva Las Americas is a new Garden festival that celebrates the rich cultural diversity of North and South American countries. This two-day festival will feature music and dance from a variety of regions of the Americas. Experience the sway of bachata music, capoeira, samba and more. Savor a variety of culinary flavors that celebrates the cultural diversity of North and South American countries.

  • 12 p.m. | Bailamos Peru – Traditional Peruvian dance 
  • 12:45 p.m. | Chilenos Sin Fronteras – Chilean folk music and dance
  • 2 – 2:45 p.m.| Grupo Axé Capoeira – Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian dances
  • 3 p.m. | SambAZ – Bossa nova and samba dance

  • New this year! Pick up your plant passport from a Garden volunteer to explore the trails and discover some of the plants of the Americas. Once you’ve finished, stop by the Membership Kiosk or Cactus Clubhouse to collect a passport sticker!

Cactus Clubhouse

Cactus Clubhouse has relocated as the Garden is growing and under construction. Please visit us in our new location in the Weisz Academic Bulding. In this temporary space, kids encounter several activity areas designed to spark independent play, while encouraging physical, cognitive and behavioral growth.
