Viva Las Americas is a new Garden festival that celebrates the rich cultural diversity of North and South American countries. This two-day festival will feature music and dance from a variety of regions of the Americas. Experience the sway of bachata music, capoeira, samba and more. Savor a variety of culinary flavors that celebrates the cultural diversity of North and South American countries.

- New this year! Pick up your plant passport from a Garden volunteer to explore the trails and discover some of the plants of the Americas. Once you’ve finished, stop by the Membership Kiosk or Cactus Clubhouse to collect a passport sticker!

Playing with Stars: Rotraut at Desert Botanical Garden

Cactus Clubhouse

Desert Botanical Garden invites kids to engage with the outdoors around them at Cactus Clubhouse–a nature play space. The play area provides unstructured, child-led activities for kids under 12 to discover the fun of the natural world.

Families can get an up-close and unforgettable experience when more than 2,000 native Southwestern butterflies return for the Spring Butterfly Exhibit. Get acquainted with thousands of butterflies, observe each stage of their life cycle and learn what actions we can take to protect them.
