“The Story of Camelback Mountain” Book Readings & Signings

Join us for the launch of “The Story of Camelback Mountain” by Estelle Cohen & Pam Hait and illustrated by Sebastien Millon. This new book tells the untold story about this iconic Arizona landmark. With its gentle reminder to honor nature, this tale will charm toddlers to adults.
Book readings & signings at 10 a.m. and noon. at the Binns Wildflower Pavilion. Copies will be available for purchase at the event and in the Garden Shop for $16.95. All proceeds from the book sale benefit the Paradise Valley Mountain Preserve.

The Leaf Connection

The Leaf  Connection showcases the vibrant plant diversity of the Phoenix metro area through an intricate display of hand-made, ceramic leaves at Webster Center. With more than 1,000 ceramic pieces, each leaf’s design is influenced by observations community scientists record on iNaturalist, an established online platform where nature lovers share information on biodiversity.

Explore an engaging exhibit led by textile-based artist Ann Morton, centered on social practice. TOWARD 2050 invites the public to craft handmade artworks that expresses their views on the environment.
