The Central Arizona Cactus and Succulent Society Show 2024

DATE: May 17-19, 2024
TIME: Friday & Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m
PRICE: Included in Garden admission

Don’t miss seeing hundreds of the finest and most fantastic cactus and succulents provided by master growers in the air-conditioned comfort of Dorrance Hall. Learn how to care for plants in Central Arizona and understand the conservation efforts of local groups. Plus, the opportunity to buy plants from Desert Botanical Garden’s own nursery.

With an increased event space  it will allow areas for education and conservation displays. These exhibits displays combined with informal chats and organized discussions will address the accelerating plant loss due to illegal poaching, land development and climate change. Learn what we are doing to combat these threats and how to join the fight to protect the plants we all admire.

Saturday and Sunday features demonstrations and discussions that provide tips to support healthy plants and care for those requiring more attention in Central Arizona’s temperature extremes.

This year the Garden will sell its own Desert Signature and Preferred line of plants. These plants are specifically selected and grown in the Garden’s nursery because of their uniqueness, rarity, or lack of availability in the trade. This sale gives you the opportunity to obtain these plants for your own garden.
