Great Arizona Puppet Theater
May 11, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.

The Great Arizona Puppet Theater will be coming to the desert this year! Create a wonderful day at the Desert Botanical Garden. Enjoy an award-winning puppet show and spend time exploring our trails and the Cactus Clubhouse—our special play area for children and caregivers​.

Old MacDonald’s Ranch | Dorrance Hall
Puppet Making | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Join us for a special Mother’s Day event. Old MacDonald has moved off of the farm and onto a ranch right here in the Sonoran desert! Come along and meet all the native Arizona animals for this silly sing-along show. After each performance, stay to make your own puppet!

Beverage service
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. |  beer, wine and mimosas
Bars will be located at Sunset Plaza and on Pritzlaff Patio

Celebrate a mom in your life with a personalized message on a beautiful potted desert plant, showcased in the Virginia G. Piper Terrace Garden—a heartfelt tribute that will bloom with love. Purchase here
Plants will be available for pick-up on May 11 from 10 a.m. – 2.p.m. Tribute plants begin at $50. The last day to purchase is May 2.

Order a Mother’s Day picnic basket arranged by Fabulous Food Fine Catering & Events.
Baskets start at $50 and include delicious entrees, side dishes and desserts. Orders must be made by May 5. Baskets can be picked up from the Patio Café on Ullman Terrace starting at 9am on Mother’s Day. Purchase here
