All New! Discover monumental pollinator sculptures from Alex Heveri’s Glass in Flight series surrounding the Cohn Family Butterfly Pavilion. Featuring butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds, these stunning glass sculptures offer a vibrant and colorful interpretation of the fascinating pollinators of the Sonoran Desert.
About the Artist
Alex Heveri is a Tucson, Arizona–based artist, defense attorney, and sculptor with over 30 years of experience creating large-scale steel-and-glass works. She is known for her unique process utilizing thick slabs of colored glass that are cut, shaped and set into textured, luminous surfaces that shift and glow in natural light.
