Check out Jared & The Mill perform as part of Garden Mixtape. Concert-goers can enjoy the indie-rock hits of this local band while sipping the desert flavors of Arizona Wilderness Brewery Company’s brews in the beauty of the Garden’s outdoor venue.
Jared & The Mill has spent the last few years touring the country and garnering national press attention from Forbes and Billboard, but band members Jared Kolesar, Michael Carter, Larry Gast III, Chuck Morriss III and Josh Morin are Arizona grown. They’ve taken the stage in theaters, arenas, bars and more, but this is their first time performing at the Garden.
Arizona Wilderness Brewery Company is serving up samples of their brews at each Garden Mixtape event. The award-winning brewery specializes in creating beers with local flavors and ingredients, while making strides to conserve water, a precious desert resource.
Jared & The Mill are five best friends from AZ. They love the desert, they love Phoenix and its people, and they love each other. They are just as likely to get down on Simon and Garfunkel and Bob Dylan as they are Van Halen and Kendrick Lamar. For the past few years, they have pretty much always been on tour either on their own or with fellow bands. From living rooms and basement clubs, to theaters and arenas. They love playing shows and being on the road.
