Fund the Farm, a festive party with a purpose, returns to Desert Botanical Garden with socially distanced fun this year. Featuring a hosted bar, bites from local food trucks and lively music staged in the Garden’s beautiful outdoor setting.

Ticket sales and sponsorships will provide essential support to Spaces of Opportunity (Spaces) by directly funding the farmers who care for and tend the land.

Spaces is 18 acres of south Phoenix land transformed into a neighborhood-level food system. Through incubator farms, community gardens and a farmers’ market Spaces enables local families access to affordable and healthy food, diverse culture and community.

The Harvest/ Nuestra Cosecha Farmers Market and community supported agriculture (CSA) subscription is a cooperative dedicated to growing without chemicals, mentoring farmers and marketing healthy produce to local residents. Artisanal vendors, performers and volunteers share their unique experiences in this community space.

With social distancing and health protocols in place, Spaces has been able to stay open and provide essential, fresh produce to the community as well as classes, workshops and events to nourish the spirits of locals.
