Dogs’ Day in the Garden

Take advantage of this special opportunity to bring the whole family, dogs included, to the Garden. Go for a walk on the trails, heel for a digital portrait with your pup, try to hop an agility hurdle, experience Doga (dog yoga) or just relax while enjoying music at the Patio Café. There will be plenty of opportunities to dog watch and meet other dog lovers. Make sure you save time to learn about local dog-related nonprofits and enjoy some dog-centric shopping at the Barketplace. Proceeds from canine admission fee benefit the Arizona Humane Society. Natural History of the Sonoran Desert

The Arizona Natural History course will introduce students to the geology, flora, fauna and human history of Arizona. Using information and theories from biology, ecology, geology and archaeology, the class will explore the adaptations of desert animals, plants and other life forms, the landscape that set the stage for their evolution and the human cultures that have called this desert home.
