LIT & SIP SHAKES UP ELECTRIC DESERT WITH COCKTAILS & SILENT DANCE PARTY

January 18, 2019

Phoenix, Ariz. – Just when you thought Electric Desert couldn’t get any more extra, join Desert Botanical Garden this spring for Lit & Sip. Guests can savor a handcrafted cocktail as they stroll through this light and sound exhibition Jan. 17, Feb. 7, March 21, April 11 and May 7.

The Garden is partnering with Iconic Cocktail Co., an Arizona-based cocktail mixer maker, to feature specialty drinks for guests to sip as they experience the sights and sounds of Electric Desert. Guests can also enjoy a silent dance party, where two DJs are playing separate music genres. Dancers grab colored headphones that match their dancing mood, and when they are ready to switch up their style, grab the other color.

Electric Desert | A Light and Sound Experience by Klip Collective includes seven site-specific locations, with each inspired by and related to the Garden. These will be located at Ottosen Entry Garden, Sybil B. Harrington Cactus and Succulent Galleries, Stardust Plaza, Fine Family Contemplation Garden, Sonoran Desert Nature Loop Trail and the Garden’s butte.
