We Miss You

Desert Botanical Garden is preparing to welcome you back to the trails, but an official date has not been announced yet. As Arizona begins the reopening process, Garden leadership is closely monitoring the situation. When the time comes, the Garden will announce when it is ready to open and the safety measures in place to ensure members, visitors, volunteers and staff are safe within the recommended guidelines. Gertrude’s Restaurant and the Garden Shop are still closed as well.

The Desert Horticulture and Conservation team continues to care for the 50,000 desert plants in the collection. The Garden’s leadership continues to make informed decisions led by best practices and factual updates from trusted sources, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and Arizona Department of Health Services.

It won’t be too long before you can seek the Garden as safe place to experience the healing and restorative power of nature, while also learning more about the plants in this local landscape. You can also follow along by liking @dbgphx on social media and by exploring Your Garden At Home. There you’ll find activities, stories of conservation, plants in bloom and more.

Hoping to see you on the trails again soon!
