Beat the heat and experience the mage of the Garden after dark. Wander through the Garden’s trails by flashlight, come face-to-face with fascinating desert creatures and soak in the enchanting nighttime vibes. Discover a whole new side of the Garden and make it a night to remember with family and friends.

June 7 – Celebrating our Community
  • Interactive Native American basketry and pottery station– Experience Akimel O’odham, San Carlos Western Apache and Pascua Yaqui tribes and their traditions.
  • Performance by Great Taiko Drummers – Enjoy this ancient Japanese form of drumming.
  • Creature Features – Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary will bring snakes and lizards of the Sonoran Desert.
  • Diana Apresa, the Food Shed & Market Manager from Spaces of Opportunity will be on Eliot Patio to showcase the organization’s Agrivoltaics project at Spaces of Opportunity. Get your own pouches of peppers grown under the project to take home!

June 14: Father’s Day

  • Treat Dad to sample the Garden’s newest spirit, Gertrude’s Founders Bourbon, created with Chandler-based SanTan Spirits a private label bourbon.
  • Rad Dads Stations: Learn about the father’s role in animal and plant families. Do mesquite seed pods have a father? You bet! Do damselfly and frog fathers have a role in raising their young? Not so much. However, Gambel quail and cactus wren dads set a high bar and are very involved in raising their young!
  • Creature Features: Liberty Wildlife will join us as well with their owls and raptors.
