Past Exhibits at the Garden

Desert Botanical Garden has become a recognized and unique space to see art in the Phoenix area since launching its art program in 2002.

With a new major art exhibit set each year through the trails, the Garden has attracted record numbers of visitors. The revenue generated by these exhibitions has helped support the Garden’s growth by reinvesting the profits into new or renovated permanent exhibits or supporting the Garden’s mission in other ways.

Each of the outdoor art shows has offered a different take on the desert and its unique plant palette. Each has comprised large and striking pieces.
Past exhibition highlights include:

Patrick Dougherty: Childhood Dreams

Dale Chihuly 2008, 2013, 2021

John Schaefer, 2011

Design for a Living World exhibit at Desert Botanical Garden
