The Great Arizona Puppet Theater will be coming to the desert this year! Create a wonderful day at the Desert Botanical Garden. Enjoy an award-winning puppet show and spend time exploring our trails and the Cactus Clubhouse—our special play area for children and caregivers.
The Jackrabbit and the Desert Tortoise | November 11 | Performances at 9:30 and 11:30a.m.
This funny version of Aesop’s “Tortoise and the Hare” fable features slow and steady Dusty the Desert Tortoise in an epic race against wild Jack the Jackrabbit, set in the beautiful Sonoran Desert. There’s plenty of audience participation as you cheer for your favorite athlete!
