Teacher-Led Fieldtrips (Grades K-12)
Discover the beauty of the desert with a teacher-led fieldtrip to Desert Botanical Garden. Teachers and their students will embark on a self-guided visit to experience unique plants and Sonoran desert, while connecting with nature and outdoor exploration.
Schedule
These fieldtrips are available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday – Wednesdays and may vary depending on Garden availability.
The seasonal Butterfly exhibit is open Sept. 21 – Nov. 10 and March 2 – May 11, and available on a limited basis as part of these visits. Please indicate on your request form if interested in adding the Butterfly exhibit to your visit.
Pricing & Admission
The price is $12 per student. We recommend one chaperone for every five elementary students and one for every 10 middle and high school students. Chaperones and teachers are complimentary.
Lunch & Food
Outside food and drink besides water are not allowed in the Garden and there is not a space on-site for lunch. We recommend Papago Park for lunch before or after your visit, and using time on the bus for snacks.
Parking & Arrival
Bus parking and unloading zones will be available to you upon confirmation of your visit.
