Cactacae: Phylogenetics, Evolution and Conservation in the Genomic Era
 
Genomic and transcriptomic data are becoming more accessible each day for non-model organisms. This data has been useful to solve important questions about the evolution, development and address conservation challenges in other plant lineages.
In this mini-symposium, Cactaceae experts and students will gather from across the world to discuss the current progress in the use of data at the genetic, genomic and transcriptomic level and understand phylogenetic relationships, evolution and conservation issues. We will discuss future perspectives and the strategies about how to address key questions using these novel approaches.
