Interested in volunteering at Desert Botanical Garden? Volunteers are needed for the following positions this fall season and beyond.
Guest Guide: Greet Garden visitors with a friendly face, enhance their experience by providing trail guidance, map orientation, daily schedule information and more.
Discovery Guide: Share desert knowledge. and engage visitors with hands-on, multi-sensory experiences at Discovery Stations located throughout the Garden. Station topics range from cactus skeletons and birds to agave and more.
Docent: Spark wonder, and share desert knowledge with visitors, transforming their experience into one of discovery and meaning. Docents lead themed guided tours and facilitate Discovery Stations in the Garden.
All three positions have openings for weekends and weekdays shifts in both morning and afternoon.

Cactus Clubhouse is a fun and immersive nature play space for kids 12 and younger. Kids can engage in activities that spark their curiosity for nature and encourage exploration.
The Garden will be aglow this holiday. Join us for glowing luminaria-lit trails, twinkling holiday lights, musical performances, entertainment and festive food and drinks. This year, the Garden is thrilled to offer an even brighter spectacle with LIGHT BLOOM by HYBYCOZO, where nature and light unite in stunning, geometric brilliance.
The Leaf Connection showcases the vibrant plant diversity of the Phoenix metro area through an intricate display of hand-made, ceramic leaves at Webster Center. With more than 1,000 ceramic pieces, each leaf’s design is influenced by observations community scientists record on iNaturalist, an established online platform where nature lovers share information on biodiversity.
