Your continued participation and support has helped make Las Noches de las Luminarias – now entering its 33rd year – one of the Valley’s longest standing and most unique holiday events. Join us once again and watch as the Desert Botanical Garden comes to life amid the soft glow of more than 8,000 hand-lit luminaria bags. Walk the paths with a warm cup of cider, listen to the sounds of handbells ringing and Dickens carolers singing, and celebrate the season with family and friends.

Entertainment
- Mariachi Pasión (located near Admissions)- The heart of Mariachi Pasión is the common love and respect for mariachi music. Having performed at various private and corporate functions, Mariachi Pasión is proud to share the beauty and emotion of Mariachi music.
- The Swingtips (Binns Wildflower Pavilion)- One of the earlier pioneers of the swing band revival, The Swingtips have roots in Phoenix, Arizona. Leader, Kregg Barentine, is known for being a talented saxaphone player, vocalist and songwriter. His original compositions such as Checkbook Daddy-O, and Santa Swings are crowd favorites.
- The Hey Boyz (Amphitheater)- Arizona based cowboy bluegrass band, The Hey Boyz, merges lyrics of the old west with acoustic instruments to create wild, fun, high energy music. The five string banjo, mandolin, guitars, and washtub bass set a truly unique tone for an enjoyable show.
- Traveler (Desert Discovery Loop Trail)- Violin virtuoso, Scott Jeffers, is influenced by Middle Eastern, Turkish, Gypsy, Greek and Celtic music. Blending traditional melodies with original tunes, Scott plays a brand of world music he calls "ethnic fusion."
- The Dickens Carolers (Desert Discovery Loop Trail) - Blending four part harmony performances with humor and correographed songs, The Dickens Carolers create a cheerful holiday mood for guests.
- HuneyBrown (Ullman Terrace) - Headed up by vocalist Teresa Hunt and music director Gloria Bailey, HuneyBrown combines Jazz, R&B, and Soul to create a dynamic sound.
- Chris Burton Jácome Ensemble (Plants & People of the Sonoran Desert Loop Trail) - While living in Sevilla, Spain, Chris studied flamenco guitar with some of the greatest flamenco performers of this era. The ensemble performs over 200 shows a year and has played sold-out performances around the world.
- Will Clipman (Plants & People of the Sonoran Desert Loop Trail) - A drummer since the age of three, Will has mastered a pan-global palette of percussion in addition to the traditional drumset. Will is an accomplished musician, poet, and storyteller. His solo performance, integrates storytelling, and multicultural music.
- Bad Cactus Brass Band feat. Meridith Moore and Mikel Lander (Boppart Courtyard) - The Bad Cactus Brass Band is a New Orleans Second Line street jazz band based in Phoenix, Arizona. Their repertoire includes original dance music, funky street beats, traditional Dixieland, pop, and holiday songs. Teamed with Mikel Lander’s blues guitar and the fiery vocals of Meridith Moore, the BCBB will keep guests dancing all night.
