The Garden continues its annual exhibition of Ofrenda, or “offering,” which is part of the traditional Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos. Ofrendas are created to remember and honor the memory of ancestors and loved ones that have passed.
Elephant in the Room

Join the conversation of Wild Rising by Cracking Art with Elephant in the Room, a thought-provoking installation in Ottosen Gallery that invites visitors to dig into rotating worldly topics and commit to reducing human impact on the natural world. The interactive exhibit will feature topics related to biodiversity and climate change, including environmental happiness, cactus as a threatened species and the culture of convenience.

Mighty monarch butterflies return to Desert Botanical Garden. Experience a diverse kaleidoscope of butterflies from the Southwest, and discover the magnificence of the mighty monarch butterfly.

NEW BLOOM: Industrial Nature by Michelle Stitzlein

Desert Botanical Garden presents sculpture created with found materials from the imagination of artist Michelle Stitzlein. The impressive, large-scale works promote recycling through transforming simple objects into dynamic, natural forms.
Ofrenda

Ofrenda features 12 altars, or offerings, created by local artists in celebration of Día de los Muertos.
The Leaf Connection showcases the vibrant plant diversity of the Phoenix metro area through an intricate display of hand-made, ceramic leaves at Webster Center. With more than 1,000 ceramic pieces, each leaf’s design is influenced by observations community scientists record on iNaturalist, an established online platform where nature lovers share information on biodiversity.
Cactus Clubhouse is a fun and immersive nature play space for kids 12 and younger. Kids can engage in activities that spark their curiosity for nature and encourage exploration.
