Starting Oct. 9, Desert Botanical Garden will debut Super Bloom Art Exhibit by Graphic Rewilding. This vibrant and immersive floral artwork exhibit will showcase a variety of desert plants at a grand scale.
Some of these blooms you may have encountered on the Garden’s trails during springtime, when many Sonoran Desert plants reach their peak season.
Featured plants include banana yucca, saguaro, ocotillo, queen of the night, Parry’s agave, organ pipe cactus, palo verde trees, lantana and blanket flowers.
Guests will be able to step inside greenhouses radiating with color and light, sit among flower clouds surrounded by blooms, and discover a magical, night-blooming garden. With more than 21 larger-than-life installations, Super Bloom creates an immersive journey through the Garden, both day and night.
Keep this blog handy as you explore the exhibit. Below, you’ll find some iconic Garden spots and Super Bloom installations, along with more detailed information about the plants and pollinators you can spot along the way.
