Cassondra received her BS at University of Maryland College Park and is now working with the Garden to understand the effects of warming temperatures on desert species’ photosynthesis. She is interested in how photosynthesis is affected by climate change and how it can be utilized to create a more sustainable future.
The Garden closes at 8 p.m. tonight for a private event. Last entry is 6:30 p.m.
