A beloved Phoenix holiday tradition returns with thousands of glowing luminarias, immersive floral art, live entertainment and festive experiences
Desert Botanical Garden invites the community to celebrate the holiday season at Las Noches de las Luminarias presented by PNC Bank, a beloved Arizona tradition that transforms the Garden into a glowing desert wonderland on select evenings beginning Nov. 27, 2026.
This season, guests can experience more nights, more music and more holiday sparkle as thousands of luminarias illuminate the Garden’s winding trails. Radiant light displays, immersive art, live musical performances and seasonal food and beverages create a festive experience amongst the beauty of the Sonoran Desert.
Running Nov. 27–29, Dec. 4–6, 11–13, 16–23 26–31, 202 and Jan. 1–3, 2027 the event offers visitors a memorable way to gather with family and friends and experience the Garden after dark.

A Holiday Experience Illuminated by Art and Nature
Throughout the event, guests can explore the Garden’s festive transformation, featuring:
- Thousands of Glowing Luminarias: Stroll illuminated pathways surrounded by the warm glow of traditional luminarias and twinkling holiday lights.
- Super Bloom Art Exhibit: Experience Super Bloom by Graphic Rewilding, an immersive celebration of flowers, color and creativity that brings larger-than-life floral artistry to the Garden.
- Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy performances throughout the Garden, including featured entertainment by Traveler World Orchestra, Simply Three and Vinyl Station on select evenings.
- Festive Desert Décor: Discover holiday trees, wreaths, seasonal displays and unexpected touches that blend holiday traditions with the distinctive character of the Sonoran Desert.
- Seasonal Food and Drinks: Enhance the evening with festive bites, seasonal beverages and treats available throughout the Garden.

Families visiting Nov. 27–29 and Dec. 18-23 can also look forward to special holiday photo opportunities with Sonoran Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Guests can make their evening even more meaningful by purchasing a personalized luminaria tribute bag honoring a loved one or celebrating a special occasion. Tribute bags will be displayed at the Ottosen Entry Garden Terrace during the event.
