Know Before You Go

The beauty of the desert is waiting for you when you are ready to visit.

The safety of members, guests, staff and volunteers is Desert Botanical Garden’s primary concern.

Please remember:

  • Please maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from visitors not in your party at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the Garden.

Chihuly in the Desert Gallery – Before entering the exhibit, please remember:

  • Please do not touch the artwork.
  • No food or drink.
  • Follow posted exit signage.
  • This exhibit is limited to no more than 50 visitors at any time.
  • For the safety of all guests and staff, a limited number of visitors will be admitted every 30 minutes. Please bring your confirmation number and eticket (located in your email) printed or on your phone ready for scanning.

Ticket Reservations

For the safety of all guests and staff, a limited number of visitors will be admitted every 30 minutes. Visits must be scheduled ahead of time by making a reservation here or by calling 480.941.1225. Please bring your confirmation number and e-ticket located in your email. Please have your e-ticket on your phone or printed paper tickets ready for scanning.

No walk-up purchases will be permitted.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, you will be admitted only if capacity allows.

What Will Remain Closed?

For added safety, the Garden has paused docent-led tours.


How can I reserve a ticket?

Member reservations are complimentary but required and can be made here or by contacting the Call Center at 480.941.1225 daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Will scooters be available to rent?

Yes. Scooters can be rented for $35.95 and $30.95 (members.) Scooters and wheel chairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. Wheelchairs and electric scooters will be sanitized after each use.

Are the restrooms going to be available?

All restrooms are available. Please wait patiently at the markings in place near each restroom if they are at capacity. You may take your children in with you.

Will drinking fountains be available?

Drinking fountains and touchless water bottle fillers will be available. We encourage you to bring water in a refillable bottle. We have vending machines available to purchase water.

Will the Garden Shop, Gertrude’s Restaurant and Patio Café be open?

The Garden Shop, Patio Café and Gertrude’s Restaurant are open.

Will a Culture or VIP pass still be honored?

Yes. You will be required to submit your VIP Pass or Culture Pass at Admissions upon entry. Walk-ups are permitted for these passes as capacity allows. To obtain advanced reservations, the Call Center can be reached at 480.941.1225 daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. You will be required to submit your VIP Pass or Culture Pass at Admissions upon entry.

Am I able to use Member Guest Passes?

Yes. If you are bringing guests and would like to use your Member Guest Passes, log in here to make a reservation or contact the Membership Helpline in advance of your visit at 480.941.3517.

My Member Guest Passes expired while you were closed. Can I still use them?

Yes. The Garden will honor your expired Member Guest Passes. Reservations are still required. Please contact the Membership Helpline at 480.941.3517.

How many people can I bring to the Garden using my membership?

You may make reservations for the same number of people your membership covers. If you are bringing additional guests not covered by your membership, you may use Member Guest Passes or receive a 20% Member discount on guest admission tickets.

Please be patient and maintain a 6-foot distance from other individuals outside of your party.

Please Remember

Due to limits on the number of guests at any one time, early arrivals will not be granted admission before their scheduled time. If you do arrive early, please wait in the air-conditioned comfort and safety of your vehicle.
