The Garden offers guided and self-guided student and teacher nature field trips and outdoor exploring activities for students, schools and educational groups, as well as professional development opportunities for teachers in Phoenix, Arizona.
NATURE FIELD TRIPS & ACTIVITIES
Our programs engage kindergarten through 8th grade students and teachers with the Garden’s resources in our nature-based field trips. Explore the outdoors with a hands-on, inquiry-based learning experience— and a dose of fun — to enjoy the Sonoran Desert.

EXPLORING ELEMENTS OF ART IN NATURE

Students investigate lines, shapes, colors, textures and patterns to create nature-inspired art while experiencing the Garden’s newest art exhibition, Wild Rising by Cracking Art- an installation of more than 1,000 animal sculptures made from colorful recyclable plastic.
