After a brief pause last year due to COVID-19, the Garden’s Fall Butterfly Exhibit returns. Visitors can experience up-close interactions with a variety of butterfly species. The exhibit showcases the importance of Monarch butterflies in the Southwest’s ecosystem. Visitors can learn how these fluttery creatures care for and protect the desert environment. Watch these insects at each life stage in the butterfly pavilion, from caterpillars growing on host plants to chrysalises in the emergence chamber.
Desert Botanical Garden is embarking on a new partnership with London-based pioneering artist studio ScanLAB Projects, bringing its groundbreaking visual and technical artwork here in 2025. The exhibit will be a first-of-its-kind in the Valley to connect science and nature at this scale in both indoor and outdoor environments.
