La exposición de arte más reciente del Jardín Botánico del Desierto viaja directamente desde Milán para traer Wild Rising por Cracking Art: esta instalación es una exhibición de arte de más de 1,000 esculturas de animales en Phoenix, Arizona, hechas de plástico colorido y reciclable. Wild Rising está incluido en el costo de admisión general y membresía.
Las vibrantes formas de arte son las creaciones de Cracking Art, un colectivo de artistas que se especializan en la plástica como medio artístico con la intención de cambiar radicalmente la historia del arte a través de un fuerte compromiso social y ambiental. Las criaturas que aparecen en Wild Rising no solo capturan la magnificencia de la naturaleza, sino que también abordan cuestiones de conservación y sostenibilidad globales y locales, incluido el cambio climático, el plástico en los océanos y la importancia del reciclaje.
