Experience the simplicity and beauty of Las Noches de las Luminarias this holiday season with 8,000 flickering luminarias and twinkling lights throughout the Garden. Enjoy a festive drink while listening to holiday melodies.

This Year:
All music will be pre-recorded sounds of the holiday season and southwest due to capacity restrictions of venues and trails. Member Weekend (Dec. 4 – 6) will feature live performances by The King’s Carolers and Mariachi Pasion.
On Monday, Dec. 21 (Winter Solstice), the first silent night at Luminaria will be held. This night only, walk the luminaria-lit trails of the Garden for an evening of self-reflection and rejuvenation. No live or recorded music.
Additional lighting displays installed throughout the Garden to highlight the Garden’s plant collection.
Guests can capture memories of their evening at the Garden with a touchless, complimentary virtual photo booth experience with options of photos, GIFs or Boomerangs.
Please enter at your ticketed time. Arrivals outside your ticketed time will not be permitted. Advance reservations are required and entry times have limited capacity. Last guest admission is 9 p.m.
Face coverings are required for all guests 6 and older and will be enforced.
Remember to keep at least 6 feet of distance between you and those not in your party.

Parking is complimentary. Please allow extra time to park and enter at your designated time.
Patio Café and Gertrude’s Restaurant offer several dining options. Advanced reservations recommended for Gertrude’s.
Bars offering a variety of holiday drinks are available throughout the Garden and accept debit and credit only.
Garden Shop is open until 10:30 p.m. Members receive a 10% discount upon presentation of a valid Membership card at checkout.
Electric scooters and wheelchairs can be reserved online in advance on a first-come, first-served basis.
General Safety Precautions
Decreased capacity with set limits for each timed entry.
Face coverings are required for all guests 6 and older and will be enforced.
Additional signage throughout the Garden to encourage physical distancing and the use of face coverings. Face coverings can only be removed when actively eating and drinking.
Where possible, one-way flow implemented for guests in order to reduce contact and avoid pinch points.
Custodial staff provide ongoing cleaning and sanitizing throughout the Garden. Hand-sanitizing stations are available at locations throughout the Garden, including at all entry/exit locations and at each restroom.
Entry/Exit Experience
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Entry times have a limited capacity. Last admission is at 9:30 p.m.
The Garden operates a touchless entry process. No cash or credit card handling is permitted at Admissions and guests will utilize a self-scan process.
Social distancing decals at Admissions guide guests to stay 6 feet apart in entry queuing.
Rentals (scooters and wheelchairs) are available to reserve online along with liability forms. All rentals and scooters sanitized after each use.
The Garden has implemented a one-way entry and exit route designed to promote physical distancing.
A digital map is available online and can be downloaded to a phone or printed in advance.
Food, Beverage and Retail
A dinner buffet will not be available this year.
Dining is available at Gertrude’s Restaurant; reservations can be made at dbg.org/gertrudes-restaurant. Please review the full list of “Safe Food, Safe Service” precautions here.
Limited grab-and-go food options are available at two additional locations in the Garden.
Extensive safety protocols are in place at bars, including the use of plexi-glass guards, hand sanitizer stations and disposable glassware. All transactions are debit or credit only. The bars are sanitized after each guest transaction.
Capacity restrictions are in place in the Garden Shop with plexi-glass barriers at checkout.

Cactus Clubhouse has relocated as the Garden is growing and under construction. Please visit us in our new location in the Weisz Academic Bulding. In this temporary space, kids encounter several activity areas designed to spark independent play, while encouraging physical, cognitive and behavioral growth.
