Tamales de elote are a traditional holiday treat. In this class, you will learn how to make delicious masa, and then fill your tamales with roasted green chiles and cheese. These tamales have a subtle heat and a bit of sweet. We will also discuss and sample a few fun variations on the classics including the addition of sweet potatoes and compound butters. Come hungry and ready to sample the finished product! The recipes that will be demonstrated are vegetarian.
