Description

Understanding the terms heirloom, organic, open-pollinated and hybrid helps you make choices for your garden. Success in a low-desert vegetable garden is affected by many variables, and choosing seeds and plants from the various options can be a challenge to any gardener. You must understand the seasons of the desert when selecting plants and seeds for successful gardens. In this class we will discuss how to do this, and how to collect vegetable seeds from your garden for future planting.

  • Class enrollment limit: 25
