Chihuly Desert Towers Invitational

THE GARDEN DECLARES SUCCESS!
Five hundred and twenty-five Garden members, visitors and friends, contributed over $774,000 to the Desert Towers Invitational. Thanks to their generosity, Dale Chihuly’s Desert Towers now has a permanent home at the Desert Botanical Garden! Created in 2008 for the Chihuly: The Nature of Glass exhibition and made specifically for the Garden’s entry, the sculptures have become a signature feature at the Garden. The completion of the initiative not only secures the purchase of the artwork, but also provides an endowment for the maintenance of the sculptures and entrance spiral setting.
DESERT TOWERS INVITATIONAL
The Garden is immensely grateful to every individual who designated a gift to keep Chihuly art at the Garden.
It is a special pleasure to recognize GoDaddy.com and long time Garden supporter Billie Jane Baguley for their $100,000 contributions.
The Garden would also like to thank the Desert Towers Invitational co-chairs Oonagh Boppart and Hazel Hare, and
committee members Ted Lagreid and Jan Lewis, for their
leadership of this successful effort.
