Stimulate your mind and body with these Tai Chi walks designed specifically for our Arizona desert. Become aware of your inner nature while observing the natural desert life around you. These unique experiences led by Tai Chi instructor Ray Sol and naturalist Eric Garton will feature desert interpretation and specially prepared tai chi exercises, including Qigong breathing and relaxation techniques. Gain balance through knowledge of your surroundings and the gentle movements of Tai Chi. Both hikes are approximately two miles roundtrip on improved trails with only mild inclines. Informational handouts, bottled water and healthy snacks are provided. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes. Limit 10 per hike.
