Once again the Desert Botanical Garden is please to present Mariposa Monarca. Come stroll through the best butterfly habitat in the Southwest and be immersed among hundreds of colorful, fluttering monarchs. A tagging demonstration will be held each week of the exhibit on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. as part of the Southwest Monarch Study, a research project that is tracking the migratory patterns of monarchs across America. Join us opening weekend September 30-October 1 for family activities, entertainment, and interactive demonstrations in celebration of the monarch butterfly. Activities included with Garden admission or membership.
