Sculpt-the-Garden: Agave
Using easy-to-work-with sculpting clay, create your own agave in a pot. Explore the new Berlin Agave Yucca Forest trails on a short tour with your sketchpad, looking for inspiration from the shapes, colors and textures of this amazing desert plant. Return to the classroom to transfer your sketches to three dimensions. Class includes all materials, sketchbook and art supplies; you supply the creativity. Price includes child and accompanying adult; recommended for ages six and older. Limit 15.

Kids Casting: Inspired by the Sculpture of Allan Houser
The Garden’s newest art exhibit Allan Houser: Tradition to Abstraction serves as the inspiration for this fantastic workshop for children. Take a short guided walk, sketch pad in hand, to learn about the amazing cast bronze sculptures. Back in the classroom, the fun begins with our own version of casting using plaster and sand moulds. Class includes all materials, sketchbook and art supplies; you supply the creativity. Price includes child and accompanying adult; recommended for ages six and older. Limit 15.
