We offer a wide variety of fun and educational camp programs here at the Desert Botanical Garden, and we have amazing offsite adventures too. Give your children a memorable summer in the Garden with our fantastic Eco Camp programs. Interactive and engaging fun while learning is the way we introduce young people to the wonders of the Sonoran Desert and beyond. New this year are half day sessions that can be combined into full days for greater flexibility. Download registration packet here. For children going into grades 1-3 and 4-6
Experience the wonderful cool world of the Garden at night. Explore a different side to the desert realm filled with nocturnal creatures, stargazing and more with this evening edition of Eco Camp.
Owl Outings: Discover the skills and characteristics that make owls the ultimate night hunter. Learn to decipher what they just ate by dissecting your very own regurgitated owl pellet.
Desert Diamonds: Learn to identify key constellations, moon phases and planets in the early evening sky. Activities and interactive story telling will bring the wonders of desert star gazing to life.
Bat Buddies: Bats aren’t scary when you learn the many ways they contribute to life in the desert. Explore the amazing nocturnal habits and food sources of bats while exploring the Garden trails.
