The Garden is open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
The Garden is open seven days a week, year round
except for July 4, Thanksgiving Day and December 25.

During evening hours certain trails are closed.

Garden admission is free the second Tuesday of every month, from 1-8 p.m. Entry into the seasonal butterfly exhibit Mariposa Monarca is also free from 1 - 5 p.m. Parking is limited.

Self-guided audio tours are available for The Desert Discovery Trail in five languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese. A family audio tour of the Desert Discovery Trail is available in English and Spanish.
The audio tour is free for Garden members and $3 for general public.

Outdoor Patio Cafe and vending machines.
- Strollers, scooters, wheelchairs and umbrellas are available to rent
on a first-come, first-serve basis. During our busy season, all
electric scooters may be rented out during certain timeframes.
Therefore the Garden does not guarantee the availability of electric
scooters.
- Cameras, batteries and sunblock can be purchased at The Garden
Shop and at the SRP Visitor Center.

The Desert Botanical Garden shuttle service connecting the Garden with the Valley Metro Light Rail system ceases operation for the summer at the end of day, May 31, 2009. The shuttle service, funded by a generous grant from APS, transported more than 7,000 visitors to the Garden from the Priest/Washington Street station. There was no cost to ride the shuttle van.
