Institutional Giving Manager
Full-time.  The Institutional Giving Manager manages all aspects of the Garden’s relationships with corporate and foundation donors, and selected government agencies.  Responsibilities include overseeing corporate and foundation gift programs; supporting grant requests to government agencies and writing proposals for other grants and sponsorships; developing and describing programs for institutional donors; serving as lead staff member on the Program Development Council; developing and managing corporate sponsorships; implementing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies; overseeing data entry, acknowledgements and progress reports with Development Operations; researching corporate, foundation and agency prospects; train and coordinate volunteer support; and serve as a member of the special projects team.  Requirements include a college degree and 5 years of experience, preferably in non-profit development; excellent speaking and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of program budgets; and the ability to set priorities, reach goals, and evaluate and report results.  Experience with sponsorships and marketing, and/or grantsmanship training provide a competitive edge.  Knowledge of Raisers Edge also a plus.  Please include a cover letter for this position.

Individual Giving Associate
Full-time.  In conjunction with the Assistant Director of Development, this position manages all aspects of the Garden Fund, including members at the Agave Century Club level through the Golden Barrel level, as well as annual appeal donations and Tribute Gifts.  Also partners with the Assistant Director of Development to support the Patrons Circle program.  Responsibilities include developing strategies and objectives to meet income goals; create and plan timetables for renewals and upgrades; coordinate a direct mail appeal program; monitor and report results; prepare Garden Fund and Tribute & Memorial Program budgets; manage fulfillment of tributes; develop and oversee stewardship program for Garden Fund and Tribute donor programs; provide support for Patrons Circle committee members and events; as serve as special projects support.  Requirements include a college degree and 2 years of experience with a non-profit organization (or comparable industry experience), preferably in development; excellent administration and communication skills; the ability to target and segment communication plans; proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with donor and/or contact databases; the ability to work well with volunteers in planning and executing events; and the ability to set priorities, reach goals, and evaluate and report results.  Direct marketing experience, Annual Fund experience, and knowledge of Raisers Edge preferred.
